Discrimination/Harrasment
A safe working environment is free from all forms of discrimination, harassment and bullying. All employers and employees have a responsibility to ensure that their behaviour is safe and supportive for all in the workplace.
Although most people are aware of what discrimination and harassment is, we still hear of and see occurrences of this in the workplace. So being aware does not necessarily remove or prevent discrimination and harassment from occurring.
This course focuses on preventing and removing discrimination and harassment in the workplace.Course Dates

Generation Y
'Children nowadays are tyrants – they gobble their food, contradict their parents and tyrannise their teachers!' Socrates, 425BC
Generation Y are the children and grandchildren of baby boomers – also the most talked about, written about, criticised group of people in the workforce today. The people most likely to criticise Generation Y are Baby Boomers and older Generation Xers. The interesting thing about this is that these people are the very people who parented this generation that they so vociferously complain about!
While this course draws on current and credible research it focuses on the skills, attributes, and knowledge we need to apply in the workplace to assist Generation Y to be a participating, contributing, proactive part of our workforce as quickly as possible.
