Mikaela is a graduate of Otago University, (LLB, BA (Psychology). She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, in 2006. She is the New Plymouth contact for EMA Legal.

Mikaela recently joined EMA Legal after spending two years working overseas for a top UK law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna, at their office based in Moscow, Russia. She gained valuable real estate and commercial experience in this role, acting for a number of international investment funds and companies. She developed an understanding of the need to provide businesses with advice which is not only legal but practical and tailored to their business requirements. Prior to this, she was employed by Kensington Swan in Wellington and worked in a number of different areas, in particular, gaining useful experience in litigation and dispute resolution, and in Treaty of Waitangi issues.

Mikaela deals with employment related queries on a daily basis and is available from 8.30 – 5.00pm to assist you.
