Kristy joined the EMA Central team in July 2008 as the consultant in the Gisborne office. From March 2009, this role increases to include the Hawke’s Bay area as well so Kristy spends 50% of her time in each office, but is always contactable regardless of where she is!

Kristy completed her NZIM Diploma of Management, and went on to complete a Bachelor of Business Studies (majoring in Business Law) with Massey University. During this time Kristy also worked full-time for the Royal New Zealand Air Force in operational and non-operational logistics roles.

After leaving the RNZAF, she became the HR Manager for a non-profit sports trust in Hawke’s Bay until joining the EMA team.

Being a “Hawke’s Bay girl” by birth and up-bringing, Kristy is excited to be working with businesses in both the Hawke’s Bay and Poverty Bay areas on their employment matters. Her particular areas of interest include recruitment and selection, induction, performance management and dispute resolution.

Kristy is also currently studying extramurally towards her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management through Massey University.
