Profile:

Tim was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court in 1990.

His wide-ranging litigation experience includes successfully representing clients at the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and the Privy Council. In addition to providing strategic employment advice to employers, Tim advises on all aspects of employment law.

Tim was a member of the Ministerial working groups on the Holidays Act, ACC, and the Code of Good Faith for Collective Bargaining.

He has previously worked for commercial law firms in Wellington and London, and as in-house counsel for ACC and the Meat Industry Association. Before commencing practice as retained barrister, Tim was Principal Adviser at Business New Zealand. Tim provides legal services as a barrister to EMA Legal's clients.
