About Trish

Trish joined EMA Central in March 2008 as a member of the Employment Relations Team, after working at the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand as a part of the Human Resources team. Trish advises a wide range of private and public sector employers across the full range of employment related issues. This includes advice on current legislative requirements and working with employer to develop practical employment solutions.

Although Trish can assist with all employment relations issues, she has a particular interest in disciplinary matters, change management, performance management and strategic HR, with a growing interest in parental leave and holidays. With her down to earth attitude, Trish enjoys being able to guide employers through issues that they are not confident to deal with – whilst ensuring the legal risks are kept to a minimum.

Trish graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Business Studies (majoring in Human Resource Management) and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology).
